Download and Complete the Tutorial. Install Clash Royale from your app store and complete the initial training camp. This short guide introduces basic mechanics, card deployment, and tower elixir costs.

Master Elixir Management. Every card costs a specific amount of Elixir, which regenerates automatically over time. Avoid wasting Elixir; wait for the right moment to counter-attack and gain an Elixir advantage over your opponent.

Assemble a Balanced Battle Deck. Build your 8-card deck with a mix of win conditions (cards that target towers, like the Giant or Hog Rider), defensive troops, splash-damage units, and spells (like Fireball or Zap).

Learn Placement and Timing. Where and when you drop your troops matters immensely. Lure enemy tanks into the center of your map so both of your Princess Towers can attack them simultaneously.

Join a Clan. Unlock the social features by joining an active Clan. This allows you to request and donate cards to level up your deck faster, participate in friendly practice battles, and earn rewards in Clan Wars.

Upgrade Cards and Advance Arenas. Win battles to earn Chests containing Gold and Card Duplicates. Upgrade your favorite cards to boost their health and damage, allowing you to climb higher Arenas and unlock more powerful characters.
